4-year old killed in NAIA car crash laid to rest in Batangas

Malia Masongsong, the 4-year-old girl who lost her life in a fatal crash at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 was laid to rest on Sunday, May 11 in her hometown in Lipa, Batangas.

Despite being unable to walk due to injuries she sustained in the same incident, Malia’s mother, Cynthia, insisted on seeing her only daughter one last time, as seen in a video shared by ABS-CBN News.

The grieving mother, in tears, clutched a pink-cased tablet as she was wheeled in by staff from Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and her relatives to say her final goodbye to Malia.
