Arci Muñoz had to clarify that the child in her April Fool’s Instagram post is not her daughter, after netizens mistakenly assumed otherwise.
On April 1, the actress uploaded a solo photo of an adorable child, along wiith a photo of herself holding a baby.
Her caption read: “Been waiting for the right moment to tell the world about you my sweet #Estrella soo blessed to have ya my little daughter. #mommy”
Some netizens quickly assumed that she had become a mother, while others speculated that it was an April Fool’s prank.
One netizen commented, “Maniniwala na sana ako, april 1 pala ngayon.”
“April fool’s po ba oh proud mommy,” another asked.
A few celebrity friends also reacted to Arci’s post, showing love for the child.
Vina Morales wrote. “Awwww soooo cutie like mommy 🥰 so proud of you.”
Myrtle Sarrosa, meanwhile, quipped: “Ang pretty niya!! 🙈 Pero knowing you Mona… haha happy April!”
To clear up the confusion, Arci later on edited her caption to “Been waiting for the right moment to tell the world about you my sweet #Estrella soo blessed to have ya my little princess. Love you!”
She also clarified in the comments section, writing: “Ze next super ⭐️ my niece someday I’m gonna have my own little 👼🏻 but for now claiming all my pamangkins my own. Nonetheless I’m a #titamomma.”
Additionally, Arci revealed in an Instagram Story that the child is her brother’s daughter.
