Iconic OPM band Eraserheads is treating their fans with a one-of-a-kind concert experience as they are set to headline their first-ever Electric Fun Music Festival on May 31, 2025, at the SMDC Festival Grounds.
Following their sold-out world tour and the success of “Ang Huling El Bimbo Concert” and “Combo on the Run”, the iconic band, known for their timeless hits such as “Ang Huling El Bimbo”, “Alapaap”, “Overdrive”, “Ligaya” and “Magasin”, will perform a full concert set alongside their selected lineup of fellow OPM artists.
Unlike typical music festivals where performers are limited to shortened sets, this event—conceptualized and initiated by the band members themselves—aims to deliver fans a “complete experience they deserve”.
“This is for the fans who wanted more,” said Ely Buendia in a statement. “We wanted a music festival where our friends, the artists we admire, can share the stage with us. We’re here to stay.”
Raymund Marasigan echoed the excitement, sharing, “We’ve played countless shows, but this is the first time we’re building a festival from the ground up. It’s all about the music, the fans, and the experience.”
“This is another first for us,” added Marcus Adoro, highlighting the unique concept of a band creating and curating its own festival lineup.
Buddy Zabala also mentioned the special connection between the band and their audience, saying, “It’s always special when we get to celebrate OPM with a crowd. This festival is a chance to do just that, and we’re excited to make it an epic night for everyone.”
The full lineup of supporting artists will be revealed soon, but fans can already secure their tickets through an exclusive early-bird offer from March 29 to April 16 via PalawanPay, with a 5% discount on ticket purchases.
