Opisyal nang pinangalanan ng Billboard Philippines ang P-pop girl group na BINI bilang 2025 Women of the Year.

“The last year of Filipino music has been it’s most exciting yet and at the core of it all has been BINI,” saad ng Billboard Philippines sa kanilang Instagram post nitong March 26.

“With sold-out concerts around the world, chart-topping hits, and international awards, there’s no denying the success of Nation’s Girl Group. And rightfully so, Billboard Philippines proudly names BINI as the 2025 Women Of The Year,” dagdag pa nito.

Ayon sa Billboard Philippines, tatanggapin ng BINI ang prestihiyosong award sa Women In Music: The Executive Edition event na gaganapin sa March 28.

“BINI will be accepting the prestigious award at Women In Music: The Executive Edition on March 28, 2025, honored alongside the most powerful and influential executives in Filipino music,” saad nito.

Ang BINI ay ang ikalawang Filipino artist na makakatanggap ng nasabing award, kasunod ng singer na si Sarah Geronimo na pinarangalan naman ng nasabing award noong taong 2024.

“BINI come as the second artist to receive the award, following Global Force Awardee and the Philippines’ Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo in 2024,” wika ng Billboard Philippines.

“Woman Of The Year is the biggest award at the Women In Music Awards and is seen as a prestigious honor bestowed to women who have made significant contributions to the music industry and who continue to exemplify excellence through their hard work. In the past, the award was given to the likes Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Madonna, Ariana Grande, and more at the Billboard Women In Music awards in the US,” saad pa nito.
