Angel Locsin’s father, Angel Colmenares, has passed away. He was 98 years old.
The actress’ family made the confirmation to ABS-CBN News on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
No other details were shared as of writing.
Angel has been on social media hiatus since the latter part of 2022. When she was active, the actress featured her dad in a Youtube vlog titled “Conversations With My Father” in March of the same year.
The vlog was uploaded in celebration of Angel’s 95th birthday. When asked to describe his 95 years of existense Angel responded: “Very satisfactory.”
“I think I lived an excellent life,” he added as he recalled living during the Japanese occupation in the Philippines.
Angel’s father went fully blind more than two decades ago due to cataracts and retinal detachment.
