Andrea Brillantes has officially left Star Magic and is now under the management of talent manager Shirley Kuan.
Kuan is known for managing the careers of Bea Alonzo and Albert Martinez.
In an interview with MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News, Andrea expressed her excitement about this transition in her showbiz career, which she refers to as a new era.
“Different era for me, sana maging super blessed itong new era na ito,” Andrea said.
She added that she has been juggling several new opportunities under her new management.
“Nagsasabay-sabay lahat, bagong show, bagong management, tapos magtu-twenty two [years old] na rin ako. So talagang ang daming room for exploration.”
Although Andrea did not disclose the exact reasons for her departure from Star Magic, she assured that she remains part of ABS-CBN.
She is also set to appear in the hit Kapamilya action series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, which she described as a “great opportunity.”
“I took the opportunity, Im happy, excited but still nervous,” Brillantes said in the same interview. “Nagtiwala sila sa akin, ibig sabihin naniniwala sila na meron akong ibubuga. So, kailangan ko, to live up to their expectations. I will try my very best.”
