Karylle Tatlonghari debunks pregnancy rumors

-

“I have been stopped on the street and congratulated for being pregnant and I have to explain of course that I’m not pregnant,” pahayag niya.

“A lot of people have been fooled by this news, so I’m here to tell you once again that the news is fake,” saad niya.

“I saw somebody on the street in Singapore and as we were waiting for the pedestrian to be green and to walk she congratulated me with all the love in the world,” kwento ni Karylle.

“So it was hard to say it’s not true. And when I explained it wasn’t true, she didn’t believe me na,” dagdag pa nito.

“One of the funny things that I did experience was the first person to congratulate me was my makeup artist,” kwento niya.

“It says there that I announced it on my page that was the copy of the text. ‘Karylle announced that she is pregnant.’ So that pa lang, you could just check my page to see if I announced it, and he did not fact-check that,” dagdag pa nito.

“This is the third time this news has circulated so I knew a categorical denial would be useless,” wika niya.

“I knew that I had to talk about it in a bigger way because otherwise people will just keep repeating the same news over and over again. It’s gotten to a point where I don’t even understand how frustrating it is,” saad niya.

“Fact checking is important as well,” saad niya.

“There is this thing that you could do on Google for example where you put the photo and it’s called Google image search. So that you could see what the photo is about, where it came from, [and] the origin of it,” payo niya.
