Alden Richards is grieving the death of his grandfather who recently passed away.
A report by 24 Oras’ Chika Minute on Thursday said the Kapuso star lost his granddad two weeks ago, which led to his social media hiatus.
“Drop everything. Walang makakapagil sa’kin na kahit sino when it comes to my family,” Alden mused about his realization from his grandfather’s death.
“If something goes wrong or something happens, kasi, of course, we live in a very demanding world of show business, but iba kasi ang usapan ‘pag pamilya na,” added the 33-year-old actor.
Alden recently starred in the GMA historical series Pulang Araw alongside Barbie Forteza, Sanya Lopez, David Licauco, and Dennis Trillo.
Hello, Love, Again, his film with actress Kathryn Bernaro, which is now the highest grossing Filipino of all time, will start to premiere on Netflix this February.
