Kapamilya actress Karina Bautista has officially joined the ranks of the Philippine Navy as a reservist.
Bautista proudly shared her milestone on Instagram with photos from her graduation ceremony, where she was seen in a full navy uniform.
Her caption read, “SN1 Karina Bautista PN (Res) from BCMC CL 09-24 🇵🇭,” signifying her new title as a Seaman First Class in the reserve force.
ABS-CBN talent agency, Star Magic, also congratulated the former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate with a “virtual salute” in an Instagram post accompanied by more photos of her during the ceremony.
“Congratulations on your graduation as a Philippine Navy Reservist! 👏🏻 Your Star Magic family admires your patriotism and dedication,” the agency wrote.
Karina’s celebrity friends and fans took to the comment section to express their congratulations and admiration for her dedication and service.
Karina joins the growing list of Filipino celebrities who have taken on roles in the country’s uniformed services, which include the Philippine Army, Navy, and Air Force.
