“Maski 10 pesos.”

Community pantry founder Anna Patricia “Patreng” Non is calling for donations to help Typhoon Carina victims.

The metro has suffered from the effects of Typhoon Carina, resulting in flooded areas and people needing help.

In a recent Facebook post, Patreng posted a call for donations amid preparations to extend assistance to several communities that might be severely affected by the typhoon.

It was mentioned that they are also preparing a kitchen to serve hot meals for certain evacuation areas.

They are urging people to donate even just a small amount, stressing that even with P10, it would already be a big help.

In their post, they also included a suggested market list where people can instead donate perishable items used for the meals, instead of cash.

They are calling for the help of individuals, family, and organizations that would want to donate and provide food for evacuation centers.

If any of you are interested in donating, their GCash numbers are available in the post.

Ana first set up community pantry in Maginhawa, Quezon City at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
