‘Pop icon’ Jolina Magdangal praises P-pop sensation BINI

-

This was among the warm messages shared between the actress-host Jolina Magdangal and the P-pop stars BINI.

The former teen star recently took to Instagram to express her pride and admiration for the P-pop queens.

In her heartfelt post, Jolina, affectionately referring to herself as “BINI Momshie Jols,” reminisced about her initial encounter with BINI on the TV show “Magandang Buhay.”

She wrote, “Hi! I’m BINI Momshie Jols! Genuinely proud of these girl group.

Jolina went on to highlight what she finds most admirable about BINI.

Walang pagpapapanggap at ka-arte arte.

Concluding her post, Jolina emphasized that her message was simply an expression of her appreciation for BINI, with no special occasion or celebration prompting it.

Members of BINI responded to Jolina’s post with heartfelt comments.

Maloi commented, “WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH PO MAMSHIE JOLS 🥺 isa po kayo sa pinaka-genuine na tao na nakilala po naming BINI 🥺.”

Jhoanna added, “Awww 🥺 thank you poooo momshie jolsss ❤️‍🩹.”

Sheena shared, “We love you po momshie jols 🥹🤍.”

Stacey expressed, “Thank you so muchhh po our BINI Momshie Jols🫶🏻.”

It is worth noting that Jolina popularized classic Pinoy expressions and songs such as “Chuva Chu Chu”, as well as unique looks and fashion styles, becoming one of the pop culture icons in the 90s.

Meanwhile, the octet is set to mark its third debut anniversary with the “National Happy Bini Day” event on Tuesday, June 11, at One Ayala in Makati.

Following the event, the group also announced that they would soon be releasing a single called “Cherry On Top”.
