It’s Showtime host Jackie Gonzaga sparked speculations that she and longtime boyfriend Tom Doromal have already ended their eight-year relationship.
Netizens grew curious over the two’s relationship status after Jackie got emotional when her co-host and manager Vice Ganda bantered about having “no closure” in a recent episode of Expecially For You segment.
“Sabihin mo lang sa akin anak kung ready ka na. Sabi ko naman sayo diba, ‘I will give you time,’” Vice Ganda joked about having Jackie as the next “searchee” in the matchmaking segment.
“Mukhang naiiyak si Jackie ma,” observed Kim Chiu.
“Eh kasi nga wala ring closure, charot,” Vice Ganda said and initiated to do a group hug with Jackie and other It’s Showtime hosts.
Jackie can also be seen wiping her tears with a tissue after her fellow hosts surrounded her.
In a separate episode, Vice Ganda revealed that Jackie is open to be a searchee in the said segment where exes are featured in hopes of finding new or rekindled romance.
“Tawang-tawa ako kay Jackie. Nag-text sa ‘kin kaninang madaling araw sabi, ‘Meme, kapag nag-EXpecially for You ba ako, iba pa ‘yung TF ko?,” Vice Ganda shared in jest.
Jackie responded saying, “Oo, sayang ‘di ba. Extra.”
Fans also noticed that the two seemed to have no recent updates of them together shown on their social media accounts.
Jackie and Tom met at the said noontime show, starting out as workmates. Jackie was formerly a dancer while Tom was a member of all-boy group Hashtags.
