‘See you in court’: Cristy Fermin, Ogie Diaz, react to Bea Alonzo’s cyberlibel complaints

-

Showbiz columnists Cristy Fermin and Ogie Diaz addressed the separate cyber libel complaints actress Bea Alonzo filed against them.

Bea took to the Quezon City Prosecutors Office on Thursday, May 2, to take legal action against Cristy and Ogie, alongside with their digital show co-hosts, and another individual pretending to be close to the actress for the false, malicious, and defamatory remarks aimed at the actress that were published on the hosts’ respective columns and shows.

During the May 3 episode of her program Cristy Ferminute, Cristy stated that she respects Bea’s legal move against her, saying that her line of work is accustomed to face such criminal offenses, but stressed that this not refrain her from expressing her freedom of

Although Cristy contradicted Bea’s camp’s accusation that she and Ogie used “negative sensationalism” against the actress just to reap views and earnings on their online shows.

Wala kayong maaaring ligtasan. Kaya public figures kayo, huwag masyadong balat-sibuyas.

“We will see you in court,” Cristy ended her statement.

Ogie, meanwhile, earlier released a statement on his Instagram story, apologizing to the reporters for not sharing his side and chose not to address the matter directly.

The talent manager noted: “Pero eto ha? Ayoko nang magpakaplastik. Tulad ng lagi naming hinihirit sa Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update, sila pa rin ang gusto naming magkatuluyan sa ending,” apparently referring to Bea and Dominic’s failed relationship.
