Comedienne-host Melai Francisco recently revealed what she considers a miraculous event in her life after recovering from a lump in her chest through prayers.
The “Magandang Buhay” host stood as one of the chosen sharers in the Minor Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel’s “Seven Last Words” or “Siete Palabras” observance this past Good Friday.
In her testimony, the celebrity mom revealed that she had developed a lump in her chest, which she considered a trial of faith that led her to turn to God for strength and courage.
Bravely recounting the incident, Melai believed that she was able to overcome the challenge through faith and prayer.
“Pinabayaan niya akong magdasal nang magdasal para mas mapalapit pa sa kanya at mas maging confident pa ako sa faith ko sa kanya. Kaya nakuha ko ang sagot sa dasal ko… After two months, in Jesus name…Nawala na ang bukol” Melai said.
“God moves in mysterious ways kasi wala akong pinagsabi eh. Nag-tagumpay ako doon na siya lang ang nilapitan ko,” she added.
In her Instagram post sharing photos as the sharer of the Seven Last Words, Melai expressed her gratitude to the church and fellow churchgoers.
“Thank you Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel ☝️???for this opportunity this Good Friday. Thank you Fathers, Sisters , Mam And Sirs Brothers and everyone for lending me your ears,” the host captioned her post.
Concluding her message, she wrote, “and Thank you Jesus sa buhay mu na inalay sa amin. ?”
