Yasmien Kurdi has achieved an impressive milestone during her second pregnancy.
The Kapuso actress successfully completed her Pastry and Bakery Arts course at the Academy of Pastry and Culinary Arts (APCA).
In her Instagram post, the 35-year-old celebrity mom expressed her gratitude to God and shared her disbelief at accomplishing her academic goals despite being pregnant.
She captioned her post, “Assessment + Graduation Day ???? 03-24-2024 TGBTG☝?Can’t believe it! I thought I couldn’t do it because of my pregnancy ? but I did it! I’m so happy! ❤️”
Despite the challenges of balancing studies with pregnancy, Kurdi revealed that her journey was made possible through the “cooperation” of her unborn child.
“Good thing the baby in my tummy was cooperative the whole time while I was in class?at naging productive ang #MaternityLeave ko because I gained new skills and knowledge ?? I enjoyed every baking pastry class! Nakaka -relax siya for me,” the celeb mom wrote.
Kurdi penned a thank you message to her professors for teaching her valuable lessons in baking.
“Thank you Sir Yohan and Chefs! (Vergel, Anthony, Angelica, Gian, Dana, Gaythel and Tin) ?? Thank you for teaching #Baking and #Pastries ? Di kayo madamot sa infos ?? I will miss you all!”,
“And to my classmates and batchmates, Happy Baking peeps! ❤️ Congratulations Batchmates! We did it ???? #PasteryAndBakeryArts at @apca_philippines ??,” she added.
She also thanked her husband, Rey Soldevilla, and their eldest daughter, Ayesha Zara, for joining her to celebrate her big day, saying, “Thanks Pangga and AZ sa pag punta sa #graduation day ko ??.”
Yasmien began her culinary arts education in January 2024, enrolling in a baking and pastry class.
Reflecting on her decision to pursue education while pregnant, she shared in a separate post, “Matagal ko na talaga gusto mag enroll sa “Pastry and Bakery Arts Program” pero lagi kasi ako busy sa tapings kaya di ko nagagawa. Kaya kinuha ko na itong chance na ito na makapag-aral while pregnant with my #BabyDragon?.”
