In the wake of the heartbreaking news surrounding the passing of veteran actress Jaclyn Jose, a heartfelt tribute from actress Dimples Romana drew an emotional response from Andi Eigenmann.
Dimples took to her social media to pay homage to Jaclyn by sharing her fond memories and gratitude for the lessons she had learned from the multi-awarded actress.
The post featured a short clip from the classic drama film, ‘Minsan May Isang Puso,’ where Dimples starred with Jaclyn.
“Lost another true icon ? @jaclynjose,” her post began.
“Tita Jane , I remember all the laughter, the lessons you generously taught me as a young actor back when we were shooting this movie in 2001 and for our May Minamahal remake ? mahal kita at laging yayakap ng mahigpit ❤️ you will never be forgotten ??,” Dimples penned to Jaclyn.
In response to the tribute, Andi penned a simple yet heartfelt note expressing her love and admiration for her “ate.”
Andi wrote, “Mahal kita ate ko,” accompanied by a black heart emoji.
The veteran actress was confirmed by her talent management, PPL Entertainment, and several media outlets to have passed away at the age of 60.
Jaclyn’s family has yet to release an official statement regarding her untimely passing.
However, PPL Entertainment stated that the Guck and Eigenmann families are requesting for everyone to “allow them respect and privacy to mourn her passing.”
