Hindi napigilang maging emotional ng netizen na si Earl Reyes nang mag-attend siya ng “The Eras Tour” concert ng American singer-songwriter na si Taylor Swift sa Melbourne, Australia.
“My boyfriend and I were having a conversation on how we’re in Melbourne Cricket Stadium after months of waiting and planning. Then I realized how far I’ve come from the time I started following Taylor’s music to actually being here,” kwento niya sa isang exclusive interview ng Pilipino Star Ngayon Digital.
Ayon pa kay Earl, nagsimula siya maging fan ni Taylor simula noong taong 2010 at dati ay wala pa umano siyang pambili ng ice cream para sa Red Tour ng nasabing singer.
“Naiyak ako kasi dati walang pambili ng ice cream for her Red Tour to traveling to Australia to watch her perform live. My mom didn’t have money to spend on non essentials and also hindi pa ako out nun as gay so it’s scary to ask my mama to watch Taylor Swift,” wika niya.
“Nag sink-in na sakin siya while waiting at kumamain kami ng [boyfriend] ko. [We were] having our conversation [nang] bigla na lang bumuhos uncontrollably luha ko,” dagdag niya.
“Sobrang surreal ng feeling from queueing to sitting at our assigned seats. The venue was so huge it made Taylors stage seem small,” pagpapatuloy pa nito.
“My love for her intensified during the height of the pandemic and sakto review ko for the bar exam. It was Taylor who accompanied me during those moments kaya I am just that emotional,” dagdag pa nito.
Tila naka-relate naman ang iba pang Swifties sa story na shinare ni Earl.
“‘Dati wala akong pambili ng Cornetto’ hits sooo hard! So happy for you!” komento ng isa.
“Yung “dati wala akong pambili ng Cornetto” hit me. Look where you are now!” hirit pa ng isa.
