Daniel Padilla turns Siargao beach into a concert stage

Kapamilya heartthrob Daniel Padilla turned an ordinary day into an impromptu mini-concert as he treated beachgoers in Siargao with a musical performance.

In a now-viral TikTok video posted by user Vince Malcolm, Padilla, sporting a simple white shirt and a bucket hat, took the beachfront by storm with his unexpected performance.

The actor, known for his acting performances in several series and films, showcased another known talent of his as he serenaded onlookers with Rivermaya’s classic hit, “Hinahanap-Hanap Kita”, which he had also covered in his debut EP, “Daniel Padilla”.

“Naka free concert,” one TikTok user reacted.

The video has quickly amassed almost a million views, with fans expressing their excitement in the comment section as well as sentiments for the singer-actor who had come from a controversial split with ex-girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo after 11 years of being together.

In a nod to Daniel’s blockbuster movie with Kathryn, one user humorously remarked, “May mga tao na sa gig ni Primo, wala nga lang si George,” referring to the characters they portrayed in the blockbuster film “The Hows Of Us.”

“Parang Primo na talaga in real life. 🥹,” wrote another.

Some netizens also noted how the famous tourist spot is known as a go-to place for people who want to “move on”.

“Siargao talaga the best place to move on!!!! 😍😭 Babait pa mga tao,” a user shared.

“Bakit sa siargao lagi nag momove on mga tao? Haha,” remarked another.

“Finally. Nakakapagrelax na din sya. I hope he finds his peace in Siargao,” a netizen expressed his wish for DJ.

ABS-CBN recently confirmed that Daniel will remain a “Kapamilya” following rumors saying he’s leaving the network.
