A clip of First Lady Liza Marcos supposedly ignoring Vice President Sara Duterte has gone viral on social media.
The said clip was taken during President Bongbong Marcos’ (PBBM) departure ceremony for his state visit to Vietnam.
While the chief executive exchanged words with Duterte, the first lady was seen seemingly keeping her distance from the vice president.
When PBBM continued to talk to VP Sara, Liza approached Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin who was standing next to the vice president.
The first lady also didn’t bother to greet Duterte when PBBM finally finished talking to the latter and made their way to board the airplane.
I love how irritated Liza Araneta-Marcos is to Sara Duterte. You know what they say, ang pikon, automatic talo! ?? pic.twitter.com/LbFtJKT5fF

Liza and Sara’s no interaction came after the latter’s father, ex-president Rodrigo Duterte and brother, Davao City Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte aired tirades against Marcos during a leaders’ forum in Davao City.
Baste earlier called for Marcos’ resignation while the patriarch accused the chief executive of being a “drug addict”.
On the other hand, Marcos clarified that he and Sara have no beef with each other and that their UniTeam tandem is still on the go despite the growing rift between the Marcos and Duterte families.
“If you remember, UniTeam is not just one party or two parties or three parties. It’s the unification of all the political forces in the Philippines, to come together, for the good of the country. And that, it’s still there. It is still vital and it is still working and we will continue it,” said Marcos.
