Kpop, K-drama stars arrive in Phl for Asia Artist Awards 2023

Some of the brightest stars of the Kpop and K-drama world have arrived in the Philippines for the Asia Artist Awards (AAA)  2023.

The prestigious global awards ceremony, a first in the country, will be held at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan on Thursday, December 14, 2023. 

The South Korean award-giving body, dubbed as Asia’s Oscar and Grammy Awards, recognizes  the performance of personalities in drama, film, and music in Korea as well as in the Asian region. 

On Wednesday, shared clips of Kpop acts such as EXO’s Suho, Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN’s trio unit ‘Boo-Seok-Soon’, ITZY, BOYNEXTDOOR, Dreamcatcher, The Boyz, Stray Kids, STAYC, Akdong Musician (AKMU), Kep1er and Lee Youngji, arriving the Clark International Airport.

K-drama stars including Moon Ga-Young, Yoo Seon-ho, Kim Se-jeong, Lee Jun-young, and Kim Young-dae were also spotted waving to fans as they arrive ahead of the star-studded awards ceremony. 

Meanwhile, former reel and real couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, Melai Cantiveros, SB19, HORI7ON, and  Ben&Ben will be the first lineup of Filipino artists to grace the said event presented by PULP Live World, Star News Korea and Tonz Entertainment.

The star-studded event to be hosted by IVE’s Jang Won-young, Kang Daniel, and ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Han-bin will feature performances from BooSeokSoon (BSS) with rapper Lee Youngji, SB19’s collaboration performance with &TEAM, DinDin and Yoo Seon-ho.
