Julia Montes, Alden Richards weigh in on cheating

-

The newest onscreen partners Julia Montes and Alden Richards got candid with their thoughts on infidelity and relationship struggles during their recent TV appearance.

On the Monday episode of ABS-CBN morning show Magandang Buhay, Julia and Alden shared their views on the subject of cheating.

“Wala namang perfect. In a relationship, mayroong isa, hindi ko naman nilalahat, baka dalawa kayong nagkamali for a time.

“So parang feeling ko cheating kapag ilang beses na — too much.

Meanwhile, Alden appeared to admire Montes’ stance. Despite having a different opinion on cheating, he agreed with some of what his co-star said.

“Ako naman may point of view naman diyan, when you get into a relationship, alam mo kung ano ang papasukin mo, alam mo ang commitment mo sa partner mo and both of you should know,” the actor said.

Alden shared that it was his first time hearing Julia’s opinion on the topic.

“Ganun kasi kapag nasa isang relationship ka o any commitment in your life, mas maganda na ginawa mo na lang lahat ng kaya mong gawin. Ngayon kung hindi mag-work ay no regrets on your part,” he added.

Montes and Richards are currently promoting their first-ever film together, “Five Breakups and a Romance”, which tells the story of the relationship between a free-spirited man and a career-focused woman who both seek to strike a balance between love and their professional lives.

It is written and directed by Irene Emma Villamor and is set to premiere in local theatres on October 18.
