Kapamilya loveteam Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, also known as DonBelle, shone the brightest at the ABS-CBN Ball 2023 as they bagged the Stars of the Night and Power Couple of the Ball awards at the stellar evening affair on Saturday.
Wearing an intricate piece by renowned fashion designer Michael Leyva, Belle exuded sophistication and beauty that captivated many in her light peach dazzling gown paired with a luxury necklace.
To match Belle’s princess-like visual, Donnie’s all-black fit completed their charm that enchanted viewers and everyone at the venue.
“We won’t be here walking the red carpet without you guys. Even if we don’t see you talaga physically, we feel it naman, online man ‘yan, lahat ng pagmamahal at suporta niyo,” Belle told their ever-supportive fans.
After being named Stars of the Night, the duo’s chemistry became undeniable with their Power Couple of the Ball award. The Can’t Buy Me Love stars received both awards through DonBelle fans’ collective effort of voting.
“Grabe ‘yung efforts niyo kaya ‘yun pa lang, panalong-panalo na po kaming lahat pero hindi lang ‘yun. Panalo rin po ang mga advocacies and those that are gonna be helped because of this foundation,” Pangilinan remarked.
Part of the proceeds will go to the ABS-CBN Foundation’s beneficiaries from its advocacies, particularly on child welfare and protection (Bantay Bata 163), disaster risk reduction and response (Sagip Kapamilya), education (Programa Genio), environmental conservation (Bantay Kalikasan) and livelihood and social entrepreneurship (Integrated Area Development).
After a four-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ABS-CBN Ball returned to celebrate gratitude toward the network’s Foundation, artists, and stakeholders.
