“Gusto ko kasi ganto” was the reaction of a four-year-old baby girl while bursting into tears upon seeing her aunt’s congratulatory tarpaulin after passing the Psychometricians Licensure Examination in August 2023.
In the viral TikTok video, baby Arianne Ysabella can be seen holding an iPad while showing the tarpaulin of her aunt, Aezer Anne Espiritu.
“Pumasa po kasi ako [ng] board exam. Tita Ninang po niya ako. Nakita po niya ’yung tarpaulin ko sa labas ng gate namin ang nag-iiyak po siya sa daddy niya dahil gusto rin daw po niya nu’n,” Espiritu told The Philippine STAR.
A few days after, Arianne Ysabella finally got her wish to have her own tarpaulin after she asked for it.
“Super happy niya, pumunta siya agad sa bahay namin tapos niyabang niya sakin siya din daw meron na lalagay daw niya sa house nila,” she shared.
“Natatawa lang ako nun kasi usually ganon siya talaga. Kaya nagulat din ako nung talagang pinagawan siya ng daddy niya,” she added.
Espiritu said that she is very close to her niece, noting that when Arianne saw her short hair, she decided to copy her Tita Tinang’s hairstyle.
“Meron po siyang kuya, tatlo. Only girl kasi siya kaya may mga bagay na binibigay talaga sa kanya but still, may limitations pa rin,” Espiritu stressed.
As of this writing, the uploaded video on TikTok has already garnered more than 800,000 views.
Netizens had a good laugh after seeing the before and after reaction of the toddler.
“Tamo ‘yan ? tas ‘yung iba sa inyo nagrereklamo pa pag gusto mag pa myday ng jowa ?? Ito gusto tarp eh HAHAHAHAHA,” a netizen said in jest.
“Kawawa pala maging jowa nito in the future kasi need mag tarpaulin kada monthsary ??,” another said.
