Trina Candaza celebrated the birthday of Enola Mithi, her daughter with Carlo Aquino, without the latter around for the first time.
The model-vlogger took to Instagram to share photos from the third birthday celebration of her daughter with family and friends in attendance.
“Enola Mithi’s 3rd Birthday [.] Thank you to everyone who attended Mithi’s special day,” Trina wrote as caption alongside a series of the birthday photos she uploaded on September 10.
Trina and Carlo welcomed their child on September 7, 2020.
In the comments section, netizens talked about the notable absence of Carlo on his daughter’s special day.
Talent manager Ogie Diaz who was present at the birthday party, related that Trina actually invited Carlo and his family over but they weren’t able to attend.
”Sinabi ni Carlo na ita-try daw niyang humabol,” Ogie quoted Trina as saying.
“Baka naman kasi nagkatugma ng schedule. Kunwari, meron siyang trabaho tapos nasabay dun sa birthday ni Mithi,” Ogie suggested.
“Ang point ni Trina ‘para sa bata ito, hindi para sa akin’,” he added.
Ogie added that Trina single-handedly made the preparations for her daughter’s birthday.
While Carlo didn’t manage to attend his daughter’s birthday, the actor made a promise to be with his daughter some other day.
Star Magic, meanwhile incidentally uploaded on the same day, photos of Carlo holding a post-birthday celebration of Carlo with his current girlfriend Charlie Dizon and his fans. The actor turned 38 years old last September 3.
Carlo confirmed in April last year that he and Trina broke up, saying that they are civil and on a co-parenting setup for their daughter.
