Janella Salvador is officially starring opposite Thai heartthrob Win Metawin in an upcoming movie.
The two made the announcement in a video posted by 28 Squared Studios, a production company owned by Filipino-Chinese TV host-actor Richard Juan, on Instagram.
“We are excited to announce to you guys that we will be teaming up for the upcoming movie under Parallel Skies,” said Win.
“To be directed by Sigrid Bernardo. We are very excited to share this with you soon,” continued Janella.
The two even said the words “Abangan” and “Coming soon” in their respective native languages.
The production firm also shared teaser snaps of the Janella and Win dressed in character for the upcoming film.
Speculations about the two starring in a film together sparked when they were spotted holding a boot ceremony with Richard in Hong Kong last month.
Win, who rose to fame with his role in the BL series 2gether:The Series opposite Bright Vachiravit in 2020, currently stars in the thriller series “Enigma”.
He held his first solo fan meeting in the Philippines last June 11 at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City.
Janella, meanwhile, last starred as Valentina in the TV series adaptation of “Darna”.
