Kim Se Jeong has addressed speculations that she is dating her Business Proposal leading man Ahn Hyo Seop.
The two sparked romance rumors when netizens alleged that the photos each posted two days apart were supposedly taken in Japan, drawing speculations that the two might have traveled to Japan together.
But following the apparent slew of reactions shipping the two on the comments section of Hyo Seop’s post, the actor deleted the said series of photos.
Hyo Seop posted the photos back on his ‘gram at a later time but notably left out some snaps he uploaded before. The move then fueled the dating speculations on social media.
Se Jeong, however, later debunked the rumors about their alleged Japan trip during a Weverse livestream on Tuesday, June 13.
“There’s a rumor spreading that Hyo Seop and I went to Japan together? Why would I go to Japan with him?,” Se Jeong said on the fan community platform.
The actress-idol went on to explain, “I went together with my best friend and my older brother.”
Hyo Seop currently stars in the SBS drama Dr. Romantic 3, while Se Jeong is set to make a TV comeback via the tvN drama The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch in July.
