A Pinoy kid based in Canada recently went viral on social media after he impressed netizens with his emotional intelligence at an early age.
In a series of TikTok videos, uploaded by his mom, Jonisa Padernos, four-year-old Aldrian can be seen showing off his mature take on different things.
I-describe mo, anong nakita mo?”
Baby Aldrian was born in Canada and was raised by his Filipino parents Mommy Jonisa at Daddy Eduardo, who both work as nurses.
“2018 nagpakasal kami sa Pilipinas. Tapos nagkababy agad kami after the wedding. Same kami ng husband ko na priority is family time so talagang very hands-on kami. Talagang shifting kami tapos may baby so talagang sacrifice, pero we’re winning it. Walang tulog pero it’s worth it,” she shared.
“I think mindset. My husband does night shifts and I do day shifts. So imagine, going home from night shift, kailangan niyang mag-alaga sa mga bata hanggang umuwi ako ng alas-kwatro. Doon pa lang siya matutulog, everyday,” she added.
At a very young age, Mommy Jonisa saw Baby Aldrian’s unique gift and talent while growing up.
“Grabe siya maka-absorb agad ng information. Ang hilig niya sa books, na-memorize niya ‘yung books na lagi naming binabasa before siya nag-two. Talaga ‘yung personality niya, nakakatawa. Gusto niyang tumatawa palagi ‘yung mga tao sa paligid niya,” she noted.
Mommy Jonisa also admitted that she was shocked upon knowing that their uploaded videos on TikTok garnered millions of views.
As of this writing, they now have more than 781,000 followers on the social media platform. They were also invited to different news outlets in the Philippines and in Canada.
Sabi nila na-inspire sila, thankful sila na na-share ‘yung video kasi possible pa lang, kahit at a young age, possible pala maging ano sila, emotionally aware,” she said.
“Siguro most of the kids, talagang minomodel tayo as a parent.
According to Mommy Jonisa, Baby Aldrian’s bedtime story is part of their evening routine.
“Kahit saan, talagang non-stop. Kahit anong makita niya, kahit anong maisip niya,” she noted.
Mommy Jonisa shared some advice to parents with growing kids based on her experience with Baby Aldrian.
“More on talagang communication. Be patient when talking to them kasi they have to process it. They have to process everything that you say. Give them time, give them space, ‘wag niyong madaliin. Kausapin niyo lang talaga ‘yung anak niyo. Encourage, encourage. Magtanong lang kayo ng kahit ano, anong pakiramdam nila, anong tingin nila,” she stressed.
