Julie Ann San Jose reveals how she shares joy to others

Actress-singer Julie Anne San Jose says it gives her a sense of fulfillment whenever she’s able to share joy with the people around her.

The “Asia’s Limitless Star” star recently graced a fun and exciting dance class at the Zero Studio in Diliman, Quezon CIty,  in line with the launch of Jollibee’s 45th anniversary anthem and music video titled “”Share The Joy”, which she performed alongside “Mr. Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano”.

During the dance session dubbed “Tara na’t Sumayaw, Sumaya!”, members of the media gamely learned the anniversary anthem’s dance steps from the A-Team dance crew and were later joined by Julie Anne and a Jollibee mascot.

In an interview, Julie Anne expressed that she’s overwhelmed to be a part of a project that’s close to her heart.

“I’m very very happy to be part of something big and something very important sa buhay natin. Nakaka-goodvibes actually kasi I’ve always been a Jollibee person, a Jollibee kid.

“It’s been one of my dreams and finally natupad isa sa mga dreams (ko), tsaka kasama ko na si Jollibee ever since eh, sa mga birthday parties nung bata ako.

“Nakakatuwa kasi 45 years, they still continue to inspire a lot of people through their stories, yung mga campaigns, and ‘yung simpleng pagkain lang ng Jollibee nakaka-goodvibes na. Nakakataba talaga ng puso. I feel so very grateful,” she told Philippine STAR/ LatestChika.com.

In line with the anthem, Julie Anne shared how she’s able to share joy to others through charity events.

“We usually visit sa mga charities, mga bata…I would spend my birthdays there sometimes tapos ang meal namin Jollibee. Nakakatuwa, kasi when you share the love and joy with people, ang fulfilling niya sa pakiramdam tsaka napakasaya kasi parang ‘I’m doing something good’ and you’re making memories as well,” she said.

On another note, Julie Anne who plays the titular role of Maria Clara in Maria Clara at Ibarra shared her excitement over the hit historical fantasy series becoming available on Netflix in April.

“Oh my God, Thank you. Oh my gosh.  Nakaka-excite kasi dati pinaguusapan lang namin na sana talaga malagay sa online streaming ( platform) like Netflix ganyan,” Julie Anne said with her fingers crossed.

“Kasi iba din yung coverage sa TV iba din yung coverage sa digital more people will get to watch it, mas mare-recognize nila yung culture nating mga Pilipino.

“Most people napag-aralan natin ‘yung Noli Me Tangere, El Filibusterismo, magkakaroon lang sila ng visuals, how it happened and kung ano sung mga nangyari before, mabibigyan siya ng execution, nakakatuwa nakaka-overwhelm.

“Blessing siya not only for me but for Maria Clara at Ibarra team. Worth it lahat ng pagod, dugo pawis, lahat worth it lahat,” said Julie Anne.
