Netizens admire woman for helping two elderlies who sell vegetables in Cagayan

A Gen Z received praises from netizens for helping two senior citizens, who were selling vegetables despite the cold weather in Cagayan on December 27, 2022.

“That time po talaga, matumal po ‘yung benta nila lola. Walang bumibili and sobrang lamig po dito.

Eurika had a chance to interact with the two elderlies. According to them, the vegetables they’re selling all came from their backyard.

The two senior citizens expressed gratitude for Eurika’s small act of kindness.

“Hinug po ako ni Lola. Teary-eyed na po ako nun kasi sabi ko, ‘Hala sobrang nagte-thank you sila sa akin, may nagawa akong mabuti ngayong araw na ‘to,’” she shared.

Eurika came from a broken family. After her parents decided to work abroad, her grandparents took care of her and her sibling.

That’s why I have a soft spot po sa matatanda talaga.

She hopes that her experience would be a constant reminder for the public to help those who are in need.
