This story yet again proved how powerful social media is!
A teacher from Palawan shared how she found out that one of her students was using a soy sauce bottle as her water jug in school.
Nagulat ako, kasi soy sauce bottle gamitin lalagyan ng tubig?” teacher Malone Belmonte shared during an interview with The Philippine STAR.
“Iniwasan ko po magtanong right after na magpabukas kasi po ayoko po ma-feel niya na iba ‘yung baunan niya sa mga kaklase niya,” she added.
Despite witnessing other unusual things inside the classroom, Teacher Malone admitted that this was her first time encountering such experience.
Teacher Malone is currently teaching kindergarten at the Panitian Elementary School, where KC is one of her students.
Upon seeing KC’s water bottle, Teacher Malone was eager to help her but the video happened unexpectedly.
“First time ko po na makakita nang learner ko na may baunan na toyo,” she said.
Initially, Teacher Malone decided to take a video to show her daily routine as a teacher.
Teacher Malone then uploaded the video on social media. Surprisingly, it went viral on TikTok and reached generous individuals.
As of writing, the uploaded video on TikTok has already garnered more than 4.6 million views on the social media platform.
Sana maabot niya mga pangarap niya at mga bagay na makakapagpasaya sa kanya,” another netizen said.
According to Teacher Malone, individuals provided KC with in-kind and monetary donations. KC’s family received a total of P10,000 cash and other grocery items. She also paid a visit to KC’s home.
KC’s family expressed gratitude to Teacher Malone’s kindness and to the generous individuals who helped KC.
