This mother thought that she would receive an advanced birthday gift from her daughter on November 2, 2022.
“Mama, advance happy birthday!” Daughter Chellian Villena-Relativo said in the video while handing over a mini paper bag.
“Ha? This is mine? Oh my God!” Mommy Cacai Villena replied.
At first, Mommy Cacai saw a baby’s shirt inside the bag.
“Ano ‘to?,” Mommy Cacai, who appeared clueless, said.
To her surprise, she saw two pregnancy tests with two lines.
“You’re pregnant na? Seryoso? Talaga?” she said while bursting in tears and happiness.
According to Mommy Cacai, she became emotional because she has been praying for an apo since her daughter got married.
“I wasn’t expecting it na may ganung surprise. Kasi actually, we are really praying talaga, pinagsisimba ko siya. Sabik na rin ako magka-apo. So hanggang ngayon naiiyak ako kapag naiisip ko siya. Alam mo ‘yung sobrang sobrang thankful talaga Kasi answered prayer talaga siya,” she told The Philippine STAR.
“Medyo risky na sa kanya ‘yung pregnancy dahil diabetic siya at the age of 27. She’s my only daughter. ‘Yung youngest ko is lalaki and he’s a special child. So parang na kay Chellian na lang talaga ‘yung chance ko na magkaka-apo ako,” she added.
Chellian said that she also did not expect her mom’s genuine reaction upon her baby announcement.
“Sobrang priceless ‘yung reaction niya. Kahit ako, ‘di ko inexpect,” she noted.
Chellian said she wanted to share the special moment of their family to other people to give inspiration and hope to those who are patiently waiting for an offspring.
“Kasi first baby namin ni husband, so first apo rin ni Mommy. So parang Gusto ko lang i-share sa people na ganun ‘yung reaction ni Mommy,” she said.
“‘Wag po tayong sumuko kasi like kami, hindi kami sumuko sa pagpepray every night. Every day, talagang pinag pe-pray namin na magkaroon ng baby. So sa lahat po ng nagsasabi na “Bakit kayo nabigyan? Bakit kami hindi?” Ah, pray lang po tayo,” she stressed.
