Social media personality Christian “Xian” Gaza took to Facebook to share that he lost more than one million followers on the platform.
On Tuesday, Xian shared a screenshot of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s new profile photo side by side with a screenshot of his photo comment on the former’s post to announce the decrease in his following.
“From 1.46M followers to 9K followers. Nagalit,” wrote Xian in jest.
“Sorry, Mark,” he added.
Netizens, on the other hand, noticed that celebrities and other social media influencers such as Zeinab Harake are having the same issue.
Katrina Velarde and Sachzna Laparan also shared on their accounts the sudden drop in their Facebook followers.
Meanwhile, social media consultant Matt Navarra said in a tweet that what some Facebook users are experiencing is “mostly likely a bug” as Zuckerburg, himself, had his followers dropped from 119 million followers to 9,000 followers.
