A video of Cavite Rep. Aniela Tolentino getting “distracted” by Presidential son and Ilocos Norte First District Rep. Sandro Marcos has gone viral.
On TikTok, user trixie_torikushii uploaded a video of Aniela reading the House’s Order of Business during the plenary session on Wednesday, August 31, with Sandro standing on her side.
As seen on the video, Aniela appeared to have fumbled with her words, making both of them giggle.
Aniela playfully hit Sandro’s arm before proceeding to read, while Sandro walked away with a grin.
The video, which also has an edited version, both reached one million views on the platform, eliciting different reactions online.
While the video brought “kilig” to some, other social media users took to Twitter to air dismay over the neophyte politicos for being “unprofessional”.
“Bagay sila”, a TikTok user wrote.
Another commented, “Cute nilang dalawa prang high school days ung kulitan…saya”.
A Twitter user, meanwhile, wrote: “Napapadalas ang parang PBB Teens dyan sa lugar na yan lately.Hindi angkop at di ako natutuwa.”

Aniela is the daughter of former Deputy Speaker Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino and niece of Senator Francis Tolentino.
Sandro, on the other hand, is the eldest son of President Bongbong Marcos.
