Is love in the air for volleyball players Deanna Wong and Ivy Lacsina?
The two athletes exchanged “I love you’s” over social media on Tuesday, July 19.
This came after Deanna received a sweet message for her 24th birthday from Ivy.
Along with cute snaps of them together, Ivy wrote on Instagram: “Happiest birthday to the best thing that ever happened to me ✨ I love you my Adi 💜.”
Meanwhile, Deanna took to the comments section of the Instagram post to respond to Ivy’s birthday message.
“Thank you for being the best part in this lifetime Adi, grateful for your existence. Wǒ ài nǐ! [I love you!] 😚🤗,” she wrote.
The rumored couple’s sweet exchange was quick to draw reactions from fans and supporters.
“@deannawongst grabe sobrang kakilig…stay strong Adi @16ivylacsina forever na yan. bagay na bagay kayo. support you both❤️😘,” one Instagram user wrote.
Another netizen commented: “@deannawongst ayiee🥰🥰🥰im so much happy for you both…. Take care of each other.”
The two, who have now fueled dating speculations, however, have yet to confirm the status of their relationship, as of writing.
Back in June this year, Deanna publicly came out as part of the LGBTQ+ community in an interview with veteran broadcast journalist Karen Davila for a YouTube vlog.
She was previously in a relationship with fellow volleyball player Jema Galanza.
At present, Deanna plays for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans as its setter. Before that, she first made her mark in the Philippine volleyball scene as part of the Ateneo de Manila University Lady Eagles.
Ivy, meanwhile, currently plays for the National University Lady Bulldogs.
