‘Panay hanap siya sa papa ko’: 7-year-old aspin mourns passing of owner

Another story that proves dogs are man’s best friend.

This son from Taguig City couldn’t help but reminisce the sweet moments of his father and their pet dog, Browny.

Browny showed his love and loyalty up until the final days of Tatay Arnel.

Tatay Arnel had been in and out of the hospital ever since he was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis in October 2021.

Tatay Arnel died on March 8 due to acute kidney failure. It was a difficult moment for his family especially for his best bud, Browny.

Browny, a seven-year-old aspin, has been with the family since 2015.

Johnlu described Browny as an energetic and sweet dog to his owners.

Browny used to follow his father around when he was still alive.

Last April, Johnlu decided to compile the videos of Tatay Arnel and Browny to remember his father’s birthday.

Netizens were touched by the special relationship of Tatay Arnel and Browny.

The uploaded video on social media has already garnered more than 1.3M views, as of writing.

“Kawawa naman huhu! Ibang masaktan ang mga aso,” a netizen said.

“Eyes can’t lie. Dogs have feelings too,” another netizen said.

At present, the family is still paying Tatay Arnel’s hospital bills amounting to P435,921.
