Can you recite your parents’ favorite lines at home? You might need it if you are attending this class!
Teacher Froyla Tesorio of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges Gensan thought of a unique way to check the attendance of her students instead of the usual “present ma’am” response.
Education student Quennie Joy Apsay said that ma’am Froyla sent a message on their class group chat last March.
“For today’s attendance, send an audio message reciting the best line of your mother/father/guardian has told you. If you have concerns that need clarifications, please use our chat room in the messenger to notify me. Thank you so much and let’s all have a productive day ahead!” ma’am Froyla said.
“Ako po ay nagulat at nagtaka dahil nakasanayan ko na ang traditional na pag attendance na tinatawag lamang ang pangalan at magsabi ng present. Tapos ngayon ay iniba ngunit nakakatawa naman,” Quennie shared.
Quennie said that it instantly gave them good vibes while everyone was impersonating their parents’ famous line.
“Sira na iyong mata, ka ce-cellphone mo ‘yan!” a student said.
“Gising na kayo, di kayo anak mayaman!” another student shared.
“Lahat kami ay nag send ng voice message at lahat kami ay natawa na rin kasi karaniwang mga sinasabi ay mga talak ng mga magulang namin tuwing umaga,” Quennie recalled.
The whole class was laughing throughout the attendance as some of the lines were relatable!
Netizens were also rolling on the floor over the statements! The uploaded video on social media has already garnered more than 790,000 views.
“Pareho siguro tayo ng mama! Super accurate! Bwahahaha” a netizen commented.
“Different mothers but same line! Bisaya moms are on a different level!” another netizen said.
