Congratulations are in order for Baron Geisler as he finally graduated from college.

The actor took to Instagram on Monday, to share photos from his graduation ceremony with his batchmates.

“My journey has reached its goal, and opened a way before me. Thank you Lord! ☝??❤️‍???,” wrote Baron as caption.

Baron completed his bachelor’s degree in theology at the All Nations College.

Netizens along with fellow celebrities such as Donnalyn Bartolome, Janno Gibbs and Princess Punzalan filled the comments section with words congratulating Baron.

While he was overwhelmed with the well-wishes, Baron who figured in past controversies, maintained that he is still a work in progress.

“Guys, I appreciate your congratulatory messages but I really did not work that hard to earn a degree in Theology, I take it as a blessing. I am still a work in progress,” said Baron in a Facebook post.

Baron also hopes to get better roles that that are not against his religious beliefs and image as a changed man.

“I’m still in treatment for my alcohol addiction, hoping that I will get better roles in the future.

“Hopefully, Vivamax will create movies that promote good family values and not just soft porn content for the reason that sex sells. Invest (in) acting workshops and character development.

“It is contradictory to my beliefs as a Christian and my image as a transformed family man.

“I am not proud of it and it’s taking a toll on my marriage, from my wife who is demanding an annulment,” admitted Baron.

Baron and his wife Jamie Evangelista made a buzz after the actor shared on Instagram a now-deleted video of their alleged argument early in April.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Jamie revealed that Baron has been having serious relapse on his alcohol addiction.

“I’m still hoping and praying na ma-overcome niya talaga ang addiction niya sa alcohol in God’s perfect time,” said Jamie.

“Three days siya iinom then ‘pag huminto na, he gets depressed. Nasa kwarto lang siya for three to four days.

“I told him to learn to be independent kasi magfo-forty na siya. Intindihin na lang natin kasi may chemical imbalance na talaga siya pero he also has to help himself,” she added.
