Newlyweds’ hilarious cake-cutting moment leaves netizens rolling on the floor

Someone did not get the memo!

Traditionally, newlyweds are supposed to feed each other a small bite of cake, but this husband from Quezon City seems to have forgotten the important moment.

During their civil wedding reception last January 9, 2022, bride Roviedelia Soriano – Villena was waiting for her husband to share the cake but Cristian Mar Villena instead took a big bite on his own.

Roviedelia’s puzzled reaction was caught on camera while Cristian ate a slice of cake. After realizing what he had done, Cristian and his wife along with their guests burst into laughter.

Cristian defended himself, saying he has no knowledge at all about wedding traditions.

“My husband is an innocent man, at napatunayan kong first time niya talagang kinasal!” she added.

The hilarious incident has left netizens rolling on the floor and the uploaded video on various social media platforms now has now more than 10 million views and 1 million shares.

Roviedelia said they did not expect that the post would go viral as they just wanted to share the hilarious moment from their wedding day.

Roviedelia and Cristian met on a dating site in 2021. After two months, Cristian proposed marriage to Roviedelia.

“Nagkakilala po kami sa FB dating. Kinabukasan nag meet-up agad kami kasi inaya ko sana si cristian to be part of my business.

The couple plans to conduct a church wedding on April 23, 2022.
