Carla Abellana held a groundbreaking ceremony for her future home.
In a recent Instagram story, Carla’s sister Erica Espiritu shared a photo of the actress smiling with a shovel in her hand at a vacant property.
“Proud of this smart, strong and independent woman, @carlaangeline. Here’s to your future dream home, seester abu,” Erica wrote.
The actress marked milestone amid her alleged split with husband Tom Rodriguez.
Carla also earlier announced that her fully furnished condominium unit in Pasig City is available for sale with P2M slashed off from its original selling price.
Rey PJ Abellana, Carla’s father, recently spoke up about the issues surrounding the actress’ marital woes with husband Tom Rodriguez in an interview with Cristy Fermin.
Retracting an earlier statement he made that Tom had a one-night stand with another woman, Rey admitted on 24 Oras that Carla got mad at him over the interview.
Rey added that Carla has to yet open up to him about the controversy, while Tom had personally reached out to him about the matter.
“When he (Tom) came over to talk to me and explain his side, he would cry along with his explanations and everything and he keeps on saying he wants his wife back,” said Rey.
