‘This is me’: Jake Zyrus embraces body transformation in topless photo

-

Jake Zyrus took to social media to share how proud he is of his body now.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the singer started off by thanking his fans and supporters for the good feedback on his song collaboration Maghintay Ka Lamang with Troy Laureta.

Sharing a topless mirror selfie, Jake said he had thought long and hard whether he should post the photo or not, citing his insecurities.

But through time, Jake said he has learned to embrace and and love his own body.

The 29-year-old went on to say that he dedicates his post to boost the confidence of his fellow transgender.

Para sayo to.

He added, “Kung hindi ka man handa pa, okay lang din yun. Lahat yan may tamang panahon.

“Well. This is me guys. Mahal ko kayong lahat,” he ended his post.

Formerly known as Charice Pempengco, Jake publicly came out as a transgender man in 2017 after undergoing breast removal surgery and receiving testosterone shots.
