Lovi Poe just snapped a photo with British co-star Alex Pettyfer and film director Ben Cookson on the set of her international film The Chelsea Cowboy.
The Kapamilya actress who’s currently in England for the filming of the movie, shared the behind-the-scenes photo on her Instagram account on Wednesday.
“In between takes and snuggled between my director Ben Cookson and co-actor @alexpettyfer,” wrote Lovi as caption.
Lovi will play the role of British blues singer Dana Gillespie in the The Chelsea Cowboy which is a biopic based on the life of actor, gangster and lothario John Bindo.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Lovi revealed that she had to learn the British accent for the role.
“I have my acting coach and dialect coach, and I did my research about Dana Gillespie,” shared Lovi.
For Lovi, starring in the international film is a “dream come true”.
“It’s very unexpected and I’m just glad that the whole production, the director, the writers and the producers were very accepting of the fact that a Filipina could actually play Dana Gillespie,” she said in the interview.
