Paulo Avelino has shared this bonding moment with son Aki just before the latter left for the United States.
On Instagram, the Kapamilya actor posted a selfie pic of him and Aki when they last saw each other.
The 11-year-old flew to the US with his mom, Paulo’s ex-partner LJ Reyes, last August.
“This was before he left. Had him a pc built for his (birthday) and he was so excited,” related Paulo.
The actor shared the photo upon a fan’s request during his Q and A session on Instagram.
Aki celebrated his 11th birthday last July and Paulo wrote him a sweet birthday message, calling him his “forever baby”.
“I want nothing but spend more time with you and be with you growing up. I love you forever,” said Paulo.
Paulo also dedicated his Best Actor award at the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival to Aki.
LJ and Paulo broke up in 2013 and agreed to co-parent their son.
