Aiko Melendez once again poked fun at netizens tagging her in this recent photo of reigning Miss Universe Andrea Meza.
“Ang dami na namang nagtatag sa akin ng Picture na ito with our Queen Pia @piawurtzbach,” the actress wrote in as caption Instagram post sharing a photo of the beauty queens who recently came together as judges for Miss South Africa 2021.
The Kapuso actress jokingly clarified that it wasn’t her in the photo, but just shared a resemblance to the Mexican beauty.
“Ok fine claim ko na hindi ako si Ms Universe ♥️ ahahaahha How I wish! Kahawig ko lang hehehehhe! ? ,” quipped Aiko.
“Andrea Meza @andreamezamx same initials lang kami. AM for Aiko Melendez from Quezon Citeeeeey! ? Happy Sunday! For fun lang itey ? kalma ako lang to ? ,” she added.
Following Andrea’s coronation in May, netizens made memes out of it and kept tagging and congratulating Aiko for winning the crown.
Aiko, meanwhile, played along with the memes online.
The 45-year-old actress was recently named Best Supporting Drama Actress 34th PMPC Star Awards For Television for her role in Prima Donnas.
She will be running for councilor in Quezon City’s 5th district in the May 2022 elections.
