Maja Salvador has officially joined the Eat Bulaga family.
The 32-year-old actress made her appearance in the Kapuso noontime show on Saturday, October 2, grooving to ‘90s hit dance craze during her production number.
Eat Bulaga, on its social media platforms, welcomed Maja as their new host for the DC 2021 segment.
“Mga Dabarkads, ang bago nating makakasama mula Aparri hanggang sa Eat Bulaga Studio, at sa mga telebisyon niyo… ang DC Queen, Maja Salvador!,” wrote Eat Bulaga.
Maja’s appearance in Eat Bulaga coincided with the birthday of her mom and considered it as her present to the latter.
“Ito na ‘yung regalo ko sa’yo ha. Sabi niya kasi, ‘nami-miss na kita makitang sumayaw.’ Ang tagal na rin kasi kuya (Ryan) so sabi ko, ‘ma, kinukuha ako ng Eat Bulaga. ‘Di ba nanonood lang tayo? Tapos ngayon magiging parte na ako ng Dabarkads,” Maja was quoted as saying on Eat Bulaga.
Eat Bulaga earlier dropped hints about an artist joining them in the show.
Maja is currently a judge in the TV5 reality talent show Popinoy, and stars in the drama series Niña, Niño under the same TV network.
