Newborn baby in Bulacan goes viral after being named HTML

-

A baby boy from Sta. Maria, Bulacan surprised the internet after he was named Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) by his parents.

Facebook user Sincerely Pascual on Friday uploaded a photo of her newborn nephew announcing his unique name on social media.

“Ang bago kong lalapirutin Hypertext Markup Language R. Pascual ??,” wrote the uploader.

“WELCOME TO THE WORLD, HTML ?,” she added.

The Facebook post has since garnered attention online with more than 7,000 reactions and 6,000 shares as of writing.

Asked about the reason behind HTML name, Sincerely told Latestchika.com, “Si Kuya ko kasi web developer, trip nya na something related sa profession niya yung name kaya napili nya HTML.”

Having a unique name actually runs in the Pascual family! That explains why the uploader, Sincerely, herself also has a distinctive name.

“Si Kuya is Macaroni ’85, ate ko si Spaghetti ’88, ako si Sincerely Yours ’98,” shared Sincerely.

“Si Spaghetti ’88 may dalawa na siyang anak. Si Cheese Pimiento na nickname ay Chippy tapos yung bunso niya is si Parmesan Cheese na nickname ay Peewee.

“Then may pinsan kami na magkapatid na Design tapos yung isa Research,” she added.
