Ai-Ai delas Alas, husband won’t ditch their face masks in US

-

In the United States, wearing face masks is no longer required of people fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

But Ai-Ai delas Alas said that she and her husband Gerald Sibayan will continue to do so even after full vaccination.

In a recent Instagram post, Ai-Ai shared a photo of her and Gerald taking a stroll along Fremont Street in Las Vegas, side by side with another pic of a tarpaulin that read: “No mask required for fully vaccinated individuals.”

Based on their picture, Ai-Ai and her husband stood out with their PPE among the largely mask-less crowd.

“Kami lang saka…MASK .. hehe … mga Asians napansin ko ang may mga mask mga puti waley na,” wrote Ai-Ai in the caption.

According to the comedienne-actress, she has been so used to putting on a face mask that she still wants to wear one even if she gets completely vaccinated.

‘Kahit complete na ayaw ko pa din mag tanggal ng mask parang kulang kasi parang hubad ka ?,” she said.

Together with Gerald, Ai-Ai flew to Los Angeles, California late May to visit her son and get vaccinated against COVID-19.

As a Green Card holder, she has been traveling back and forth between the US and the Philippines.

She got her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in the US on May 29.
