With a heavy heart, Kris Bernal shared why her and fiancé Perry Choi had to reschedule their June 5 wedding.
On social media, the actress-businesswoman shared that they were forced to postpone their wedding because of the past surge of COVID-19 cases in the country.
“I remember it was April, when a sudden surge in COVID-19 cases happened and it reached around 12k or 15k a day so we decided to move our wedding instead,” she said.
The bride-to-be opened up that she was emotional when she finally had to send the cancellation message for her big day.
“I think it was one of the toughest decisions that I ever made but we need to prioritize the health and safety of the most important people in our lives,” she wrote.
The important thing is, she said, that the wedding will push through at a latter date.
Perry asked for Kris’ hand in marriage back in February 2020.
