Award-winning film Fan Girl is coming to Netflix this month!
Netflix Philippines thrilled netizens on Friday after announcing on its Facebook page with 75 million followers that the Paulo Avelino and Charlie Dizon-starrer will be available on the giant streaming platform on June 17.

,” read Netflix’s caption alongside the film poster.
Fan Girl, a film directed by Antoinette Jadaone, was an official entry to the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
The film which revolves around the story of a girl’s obsession with a screen idol was a big winner at Metro Manila Film Festival’s Gabi ng Parangal, bagging major awards including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Screenplay.
Paulo and Charlie were also hailed Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively.
Fan Girl also bagged seven awards at the 4th EDDYS (Entertainment Editors’ Choice) awards in April.
