Celebrity couple Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid encountered a road bump just before receiving their second dose of the COVID-19.
On his Instagram, Ogie shared that they were exposed once again to an individual who was positive with COVID-19. He revealed that they had to isolate themselves to fulfill the requirement for the second jab.
The 53-year-old then addressed those who are hesitant to receive their COVID-19 vaccines.
“Noong una ay Pfizer ang akala naming mahusay nguni’t sa aming mga nabasa pagkatapos ay kung ano ang ibigay yun ang pinakamabisa,” he said.
Ogie disclosed that the vaccine they received was the China-made Sinovac.
“Kaya ako nagpabakuna, hindi lang para sa sarili ko, kundi para sa nakararami. Kaya maging protektodo, sa bakunang siguro,” he ended.
As for Regine, she also encouraged the public to get their jabs when it’s their turn already to achieve herd immunity.
“I encourage all of you to have yours too. For us to achieve her immunity at least 70% to 80% of our population needed to be vaccinated. This is the only way we can all go back to our normal lives,” she wrote.
