Maja Salvador has announced her decision to establish her own artist management company and personally handle her career.
Calling it a new chapter in her life, the 32-year-old actress said on Tuesday that self-managing is the best move for her at this time.
“Ako po ay sobrang excited sa bagong yugto ng aking career at makita kung saan ako nito dadalhin. Sa aking pagpapatuloy dito sa industriya, I think the best move for me now is to manage myself.”
She believes that to be able to do it successfully, she needed to start her own talent management outfit.
“At para magawa ko po ito successfully, I put up Crown Artist Management Inc., kasama ang mga tao na malapit sa puso ko.’
Maja, who left her long-time handler Star Magic late last year, said she will always be grateful for the opportunities she received during her time under ABS-CBN’s talent management arm.
“I’m forever grateful for all the love I’ve been given by my Star Magic family, and the opportunities I’ve been blessed with working with very talented people in the industry.
“Kung sino ako ngayon, I owe to them and ABS-CBN dahil sa kanilang pag gabay at pagtiwala sa aking kakayanan.”
She also asked her followers to support her as she looks to help newbie artists through her new company.
“Sa malaking hakbang na ito with my own management company sana tuloy tuloy niyo pa din po akong suportahan in this new journey of mine trying to make other people’s dreams come true as well, tulad na lang ng pagtupad niyo ng sarili kong pangarap. Maraming salamat po. #CROWN“
Maja started appearing on TV5 in October 2020 as one of the main hosts of the Sunday variety show Sunday Noontime Live.
On Tuesday, TV5 teased Maja’s return onscreen via the teleserye Niña Niño. The network said it’s going to air in April as a primetime show.
